The Phoenix Singers

Established in 2014, The Phoenix Singers is an accomplished Oxfordshire chamber choir based in the village of Bucknell. We regularly perform classical and religious music in a concert setting in various venues around the Bicester area.

We are made up of 20 experienced singers from the North Oxfordshire area who share a passion for singing Choral Chamber Music old and new.

Justin Lavender and Peter McMullin

Musical Direction

Fortunate to be under the musical direction of Justin Lavender and Peter McMullin, we sing a wide variety of music and perform concerts three times a year.

Peter will be musically directing our forthcoming Carols by Candlelight concert on Friday 13th December (Newton Purcell Church) and Sunday 15th December (St. Peter’s Church, Bicester).

We are available for hire for private events such as weddings – in fact, any events requiring singers.. Send us a message and we’ll get back to you.
